The Cardinals built up a two run lead by the fifth, then the Rangers came back and then soon it was tied at two in the sixth. But the Cardinals came back in the seventh and ended the game with two strike outs and one fly ball caught to end the ninth. The Cardinals won 3-2 and lead the seires 1-0.
